Well, I can see the reason for the guy's mistake. Anyone willing to dress up as a clown has to be at least a little open to the possibility of doing some other things if the money is good enough. And, clown people are pretty scary.

The exception would be rodeo clowns who are probably all just nuts. They run in front of bulls to protect the thrown bull riders. They probably deserve every bit of money they get and a lot more. I am not sure how the rodeo clown tradition started, unless they didn't want their moms to see them doing something so dangerous. I need to research this on the internet.

Back on topic, the dude maybe had the right idea about clowns. He should have taken the clown out for a few beers. They could talk about what the clown would do for the right money and he could feel the clown out. They could start small and work their way up from there.

I am thinking about the clown kidnapping a few pets first and demanding ransom. That's pretty essential in these cases. Make sure you have dirt on your clown.

It is my experience that a clown will always rat you out.
