I remember when he was in Tulsa on KOTV. Good for him making the big time.

Funny thing is Dari and I would have been in J-school at the same time and I have zero memory of him. None.

Good for him, and good for that ******rocket Galindo going to the Bonghorn network to enhance his bonghorn teabagging.

He is one of three ESPN personalities I don't have an active dislike for.

An OU grad who gets paid to be emersed in college sports. I'm jealous.

maybe this will tap the brakes on the WWL's longhorn fellatio for 5 minutes

I certainly like the fact that their lead fluffer has been moved to his dream fluffing job.

So does this mean that to exhibit his "journalistic integrity" that he overcompensates and bags on OU full time? I'm going to just start hating on him early so I am not mad when he shows himself to be a turncoat... so yeah he's just another ESPiN talking head. IF he turns out to be a OU homer then you know that ESPiN didn't vet him well.

Otherwise, good for him to elevate himself into a nice position.

He's hosted College Football Live many times, and doesn't overcompensate (aka. the Dean Blevins Effect), he's very balanced, and I have heard him say once, "I can't remain unbiased when you talk about my Sooners." it was in the context of being asked whether he thought OU was a legitimate #1. But ESPN has a way of corrupting.

If Galindo can clearly show his shorthorn bias for the year+ he had the gig, I don't think there'd be an issue with Dari showing even the slightest favor toward OU.

I'm going to go ahead and give him a chance.

Dari is solid. Was at KOTV, is at ESPN. Most people will never know he's a Sooner unless told. You won't hear it very often if ever in his reporting.

He's a class dude.

He does a good job of remaining objective like Herbstreit. Gallindo...even without the Horn lust...was annoying to me.
