I like Steve Martin in almost everything he does. Chevy Chase was great on SNL and first couple Vacation movies and in Caddyshack (but not much else). I loved Martin Short as Ed Grimley and in that old SNL skit where he isn't a strong swimmer (but nothing else).

However, the three of them together, in Three Amigos were horrendous. I couldn't take it. I do find a couple of the lines quoted in this thread amusing, but I was so nonplussed by the movie itself I don't remember those lines. I certainly don't remember laughing. Only cringing.
