i just don't see it b/c of their schedule

key games

Oregon (in Dallas)
@ Mississippi State (Thursday night game, always tough for road team).
@ West Virginia
Florida
@ Alabama
Arkansas (rival, and good)

That's brutal, 2 losses miniumum... maybe they pull off a 2 loss 2007 season again, but there will be two legit BCS teams with 1 or fewer losses.. 2007 was crazier than 2008.

The Oregon game will tell us a lot about the WVU game and how Holgorsen opts to attack their defense, IMO.

Kudos to LSU for having some tough OOC games.

1 loss @ Alabama. That's all I can truthfully see them losing...

Unless QB play is significantly better, they could lose four to five games.

We're talking about LSU, not Texas... ;)

They definitely kicked the crap out of A&M.

Then OU plays for it next year. They've been in the last 3 Orange Bowl NC games.

I wonder if Leslie has learned anything about clock management during the offseason?

LSU will not be in the title game or the SEC championship game.

Wait a minute, LSU won a title in what, 1958 and then not again till 2003, so exactly how is it that history says they will play for the Title this year?

they have won the last two BCS Sugar Bowl Titles.

history has shown us during the last 8 years, that LSU will play in the Title when it's in New Orleans... :)

I'll take this one. After LSU's title in '58, there were 11 national champions who got there via the Sugar Bowl and none of them were LSU . . .

Well, if you want to predict future events based on past trends, go mortgage your home and invest all of the money in stock. When I see you on a corner holding a can out to strangers I'll be sure and drop a quarter in it for you.

Because it's in the cajun inbred horoscope.

They don't have a QB. In the spring game he had something like 4 completions and two INT's. That's not gonna cut it.

LSU has only been to two of the three BCS title games in the Sugar Bowl (2003, 2007)

it was Florida State and Va Tech there the first time (1999)

OU has been to the Orange Bowl every time the BCS championship was there (2000,2004,2008)

Not sure, but he has never coached a football team without at least two losses. There's LSU history and then there is Les Miles history. My money is on leslie.

He did have a season his team was undefeated in regulation! (One of my favorite coaching quotes).

What is a "BCS Sugar Bowl Title"? The Sugar Bowl is a BCS game every year and they definitely haven't won the last two. The BCS Title game in New Orleans is not the Sugar Bowl (though it was in '04).

I know what you meant. Just messin' around.

he had more passing TD's vs tx aggie, than Landry Jones had against tx aggie

;)
