:D

I'll start, since I'm the pro, or am I? ;)

Aside from my other drama, my Auntie Concetta found out that oil was on our family land, kept it a secret until she bought everyone out.

Every kid had a Nintendo growing up except me, because parents thought video games rotted your brain or something silly. I am now making up for lost time.

Parents divorced. Escaped grasps of my mother to live with my dad. Haven't seen my mother in over a year or one of my brothers or my sister, don't care, they are trash. I am happier with my dad and my brother than I ever was over there. Funny thing is my mother has official custody of me and my dad has been paying child support the entire time. Took her to court, have another date in August. And even though my mother cut my phone off and took me off her plan, she has contacted my brother and has asked him for my number, even though she cut me off. It is weird, but stuff happens.

Everything can always be settled with 10 frames.

You know how sometimes old "friends" from college or high school or whatever will sometimes contact you after years, then you realize they are either trying to get money or sell you something?

I think that might be one of my cousin's motives on facebook right about now :(

My parents left me at Stuckey's when I was a child. They swear it was an accident, but I'm not convinced.

My parents trained me to deal death in the traditional ways of ninjitsu instead of using firearms in the american fashion.

Yes. If you had the time to pimp life insurance, and the audacity to drag everyone you meet into it, you could make money. The more sociopathic you are, the better.

My dad's 80 and just remarried (my mom died 2-1/2 years ago). I have a new stepmommy. I went to high school with her daughter.

Very weird. But Dad's happy, so I guess it's cool.

It's not as weird as if the stopmommy had gone to school with you.

It could be much worse - you could have went to high school with stepmommy's mommy.

That was a fun wedding reception. :D

My son wanted to wear his Batman rash guard instead of his dark blue one. Clearly the dark blue rash guard matched his board shorts better. This was becoming a nightmare and when he wanted bottled water instead of ice and water from the fridge door...you could nearly cut the tension with a flame thrower.

I have an single aunt of about 70 that could be featured on one of those hoarder's shows on TV. She lives in the same town as the rest of the family, but nobody can go and visit; she'll just meet on the porch. I haven't been inside her home for years.

Dad (80) is beside himself in how to deal with the situation, but what can one do? Aunt storms off at the mere mention of most anything related to her home. I've chosen to not worry about it. <shrug>

Did you have to have the sex talk with your dad? Cause I had to with my mom after my dad died.

Still cringe remembering.

Did you know that senior citizens have one of the higher STD rates? Yes, I had to explain to my mother that even though birth control was no longer an issue, please remember to use condoms.

Serious source is serious.

Taxpayers could soon be picking up the tab for new sexually transmitted disease screenings for seniors, as well as other Medicare recipients.

More than a decade after Viagra and its ilk began helping boomers and seniors to enjoy conjugal relations more frequently, sexually transmitted disease rates are up dramatically in the over-40 age bracket.

And while wisdom is supposed to come with age, studies have also shown that men over 50 -- regardless of marital status -- are six times less likely to use a condom than men in their 20s, partly because, by that age, they (and their partner) are less worried about pregnancy.

Add in improved senior health and a higher divorce rate, and the result nearly seems inevitable: According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, STD rates are up by almost 50 percent for men over 40 between 1996 and 2008.

My Uncle burned down my other Uncle's house on Christmas eve because he believed his brother was nailing his ex-wife. (At the time he was visiting his brother's ex-wife and kids in Ohio) He left a note at the scene saying he did it. I had to talk him into turning himself in on Christmas morning, and out of shooting the family livestock. He also stole a large coin collection out of the house before burning it. When he turned himself in he had 100 half dollars in is pockets. Later, the two brothers reconciled, and the one who had his house burned down was the one who had to make the decision to pull the plug when the other had an aneyruesm. FedEx then lost his remains on the way to the funeral.
