Must have been tough decision to give up another season of football. I wish the obviously multi-talented young man good luck. They will probably have a young stud to replace him with. They have been recruiting well.

I just hope their fans say something like how the guy who's replacing him is actually better. Kind of like when they lost Minnis in 2001.

With Ponder gone, I don't see FSU having a very strong passing game this year with or without Easterling.

Has anyone else brought up the fact yet that the last time we played FSU in the state of Florida, they lost their top receiver before the game and we won?

EDIT: Quick, someone else mention Marvin Minnis!

Yep. Young man certainly had some long, soul-searching nights I'd bet. Best of luck to him.

I wish Easterling the best of luck...perhaps he can be traded in the near future as to never suit up with the North side Failures.

I thought Bert Reed was supposedly their main man. Like stated above, it shouldn't be that big of a loss. They've been recruiting really well lately.

Greg Reid will go both ways to fill the void.
