Disgraced USC running back Reggie Bush has reneged on a promise to return his 2005 Heisman Trophy, the website Sports by Brooks reported.

Sports by Brooks corroborated reports earlier this month on The Dan Patrick Show that Bush hadn’t returned the trophy he won while ineligible (leading to USC being put on probation, blah, blah, blah).

Sports by Brooks took it one step further, writing that “a source close to Bush” said he “has decided he will not return” the trophy. In September, Bush announced he would forfeit the award.

 Doesn't come as a huge surprise. He had no character when he played, he won't suddenly develop one now.

Trashy is as trashy does. Bush is such a liar no one should believe him if he says good morning.

The club should hire some ex Navy SEALs to do a black op into his house and reclaim it. Git er done. :D

Go ahead and keep it. It's not as if his painting will be up on the wall of the downtown athletic club or he'll ever get to show up there again or his school recognizes it.

Everyone knows that should've been VY's anyway. ;)

That trophy looks pretty heavy - maybe he couldn't afford the shipping costs.

Well, Bush is definitely dishonest and a low character individual. Comparing him to OJ is a bit much though, no?

There are no paintings on the wall of the Downtown Athletic Club because there is no Downtown Athletic Club.

Should have been Young's because he lost the vote by what about 1000 points? Maybe he can get one with a bevorisk*

What, they moved, right?

And it would've been VY's had they voted after the national championship game for sure.

I hate to say it, but that was one of the finest moments in college football. From a purely neutral, objective perspective. As a sooner, it made me vomit.

What's scrap metal going on the market these days? And if he does burn in hell, it might save the cost of melting it down..

There is no Downtown Athletic Club. They were never able to recover after 9/11. It is an apartment building now. Get with the times Herr, it's been a decade.

For sure? I'm going to have to disagree with that statement. For sure we'll never know, that is for sure.

Is it related to the "walk of shame"?

Reneged on a promise to endow 1 scholarship for student-athletes from his HS.
Reneged on a promise to marry Kim Kardashian if he won the Super Bowl.
Seems like this is par for the course.
