Great point.

However, Obama will see to it that it never gets that far or have a "friendly judge." Of course, that honest and morally courageous Emanual now runs Chicago.

Chicago crooks

Chicago and New Orleans seem to be a lot alike in this regard.

Damn....prosecutors want all of his money and his House. They are possibly let him go Home tonight. If you had gotten charged and then was deemed guilty of 17 of 20 charges....would you have been able to go Home?

Will never get that far for sure. Blago will be the first Presidential pardon when Obama leaves office, a bipartisan move to keep political corruption intact.

Could be up to 300, but it will probably be reduced to less than 10.

Fitzgerald is a bulldog of a prosecutor. He is the same one, who got Scooter Libby and was very close to getting Karl Rove.

His ability to milk donors for everything would have been better suited at a university, where such fleecing is legal.

Jackson: I want an Illinois lottery job for my wife.
Blago: Did you get in your $25k campaign contribution?
Jackson: No, but we're all Democrats, right?
Blago: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Compared with:

Illini alumni: I want Rose Bowl tickets to go see Juice and Zook kill USC!
Blago: Did you send in your $25k alumni donation that will better our academic and athletic programs for current and future student-athletes?
Alumni: No, but we're all Illini fans, right?
Blago: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

<sigh> Corruption as usual in Illinois. Keep that sh!t south of Wisconsin plz

Oh man, Bank of America not getting business from that state anymore? Great!

The state had so many IOUs and terrible credit everywhere that I remember them having to pay cash for police department bullets because the company just didn't trust the state to pay. The state IOU'd a Lutheran medical assistant program to the point that they were going to shut their doors... THEN Illinois was finally like "OK, we'll pay you some of the money we owe you since you're on the brink of closure."

:( I think Blago ran that state's credit further into the ground than anyone thought possible

PS: BoA canceled on them back in April of this year (http://tucsongrowup.com/2011/04/09/bank-of-american-cancels-illinois-credit-cards-income-taxes-have-been-raised-67-and-they-are-still-net-270-payment-terms/), even without Blago's pressure. Nyuck nyuck nyuck

Nah!
Kinda like the Clinton years...
Blago will show up at a local park, dead of a self inflicted gunshot....if he even dares to mention Obama admin. names.
