1. Anyone else notice that there are quite a few memorable pictures of AD. :D

2. Picture #27 Why Roy Williams scoring on us is a memorable picture in OU history?

Picture #60 is by far my favorite picture.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think The Fake ever scored at the RRS. Maybe it was just never won...which I know that is true.

He didn't score. The fake Roy Williams never scored and was 0-4 vs OU.

anyone remember their 2nd TD in the 2002 RRS?

hint:

It was a wheel route.

I don't read too good.

Anyway, I didn't look at the pictures. I was going from my awesome memory.

I didn't see my all-time favorite OU photo in the list - Curtis Fagan's TD catch from Heupel to tie the score with Nebraska 14-14 in 2000. The sheer joy of the fans in the crowd is priceless because at that very moment, everyone knew we were back.

Maybe Tulsa World has that shot but it is my all-time favorite photo pertaining to OU.

I was only referencing the question that rekamrettuB posed regarding whether or not he scored against us. But maybe it was a memorable event just for the fact that tfrw never scored on us.

All of those pix of Lil' Joe Washington had to have been photoshopped! He
had so much hang time that there must have been a parachute involved.

Curtis was so stiff limbed that he could cut on a dime and five guys would go flying past him. I remember reading an article about how Cale Gundy would tease him because he couldn't touch his toes. Also not much burst, but when he got into gear, he could fly.

I haven't seen them all, but I think a couple of the captions are wrong.

Are they sure Little Joe quick kicked against Texas in pic #12?

Isn't that Dusty on the bottom of the pile in pic #28...and not Chris Chester?

Yes, it was a shot from the Tulsa World. I ordered a print from them the next week. It's in the middle of the wall.

It too is my favorite OU photograph.

What was awesome about that photo was that Fagan was out of focus and the crowd was in focus and they were going crazy. Every single person was signalling touchdown! (except Lee Corso who can be seen scowling on the sidelines in his blue dress shirt and tie).

Greatest OU photo in history. Sheer, unadulterated joy on all those folks faces in the crowd, except Corso. :)

People were crying in my section - the drought was over.

Corso wasn't smiling because he knew what was waiting for his alma mater in Miami come January 3. :D

1975 UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA VS. TEXAS COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME: OU led Texas 24-17 late in the game, and the Sooners were backed up on their own end. On third-and-long, OU pitched to Joe Washington, who unleashed a quick kick. The punt traveled 76 yards, pinning Texas in its own end and effectively sealing the game. Staff Photo by J. Pat Carter. Original photo taken 11/01/1975.

Um...no. That's aggy. GIA in the background. texass has never had non-white helmets AFAIK, and the OU/tx game was on 10/11, not 11/1. And we beat lOSUr 27-7 that year.

Still a great pic, tho.

It was in the Tulsa World the day after the game. It was on the front page of the sports section.
