located at 3rd and Main street gave me one of, if not the best haircuts I have ever had in my entire life.

$11 and took about 5 minutes.

I was in Elk City for a meeting and had about an hour to kill so I wandered into his barber shop. I'm very glad that I did. Now I need to find a reason to be in Elk City every 6 weeks or so to get my hair cut there.

Scooter - i've seen how much hair you have - if they took 5 minutes - that was 3 minutes too long

Astro in Lawton...for $11 bucks you get a haircut...shoulder and neck massage...eyebrows and nose hair trimmed...hot towel...

But it ain't quick...bout 25 minutes...

You also get the straight razor shave at Astro...

Don't expect any employee to speak intelligible English...Vietnamese or Korean or something....

that's old hat. Bill Miller at the Captain's Chair has been shaving my neck for years with a straight razor.

I had my hair cut in one of those Korean barber shops once. I had just had my hair cut so there wasn't much for them to do, except... They didn't and I got a burr haircut out of the deal. I was on my way home to the US and when I arrived my mom asked me if I was sporting a new look. Of course, I couldn't tell her about that new look attempt. So yeah, FAIL.

Well sure the excitement wears off with anything if you do it a lot. Try having it done with the barber wearing a blindfold while you tell him higher, lower, right, left. That will put the excitement back into it. :D
