View Full Version : Tailgate contributions needed
As Dean mentioned in another thread, we have secured our primo tailgating spot for yet another season. However, our landlord has increased our rent substantially, to the tune of double. Now, we're not complaining about that, because they could probably get double that from some big company without really trying. Nevertheless, we need to raise some funds to get that taken care of before the season starts so we're all set to go.
Any and all contributions will be gratefully accepted, and we'll shut it down once we have hit the number we need to pay for the spot for the season. Anything that comes in over that will go into the general tailgate kitty to finance the weekly largesse come September.

Yes, this is a separate effort. TG sponsorships go to cover the toilet, food, beer, etc. Well not in that order...
Phil has been handling the tailgate location rental the past year or two. It's gone up substantially, so now he needs some help there. Anything anyone can do will help.

I am thinking we keep the spot where it is. It might cost more, but the location is way cool!!!
How many people are on this board? I'm guessing if everyone contributed $20-$50 we could have this taken care of. To me, it's definitely worth that and I think most other people would agree.
Dean and Lisa take care of us and provide us a great environment to enjoy pre-game and post-game festivities.
Seems simple to me.
I will be sending my contribution next week.

Sorry Phil...I'm not gonna be able to come through seems a few of the SF Atheists feel I'm wasting money that could be better spent on helping Feed the Children and I guess PETA will need to get a chunk too. If possible I might see what's left after I finish my trip to Haiti, Chili, Japan, Ethiopia and the hills of West Virginia.
They seem to be very caring though as I got some nice Crimson Comments for offering to help you. I'm sure some of them will make
Some personal sacrifice and the dough will be flying in in the next couple of weeks. I mean if we all dig deep we might even be able to help pay off that damn debt the baby boomers saddled us with too.
I call upon the Crimson NegsPEKers to come up with a plan to send assistance to all the good causes we have even though it's apparent that our politicians have abandoned us and that we will all soon have 530 Credit Ratings!
Anyway....if you get a little something from me...please don't go announcing it. I think it upsets the folks who are trying to make this World a better place for the Children.
