As Dean mentioned in another thread, we have secured our primo tailgating spot for yet another season. However, our landlord has increased our rent substantially, to the tune of double. Now, we're not complaining about that, because they could probably get double that from some big company without really trying. Nevertheless, we need to raise some funds to get that taken care of before the season starts so we're all set to go.

Any and all contributions will be gratefully accepted, and we'll shut it down once we have hit the number we need to pay for the spot for the season. Anything that comes in over that will go into the general tailgate kitty to finance the weekly largesse come September.

You can PayPal funds to [email protected] or send checks/money orders to:

Roadhouse Enterprises, LLC
2300 W. Danforth Rd., Suite 120
Edmond, OK 73012-4341

Make sure you designate your contribution as being for the tailgate. Thanks.

Thanks to JR for the first contribution. Only $1,150.00 left to raise.

It costs that much for a tailgating spot?

I think I remember you saying you were very young.

It costs that much per game for the food/beer/set up/etc. Not including renting the uber sweet spot we have.

I've never been to Norman for a football game. I have been to Norman though. Infact, we got to watch the OU men's basketball team practice one day in the early 2000s and then we got a picture with the entire team, including Hollis Price. Got a signed basketball by him that day too.

Early 2000's? What grade were you in then?

4. I remember the entire trip, though. It was the same day that the 2000 national championship team left to go to Miami.

Seriously, the tailgates are great fun. I know Dean and others work hard to put them together every other week, so shove a little their way if you attend. Ive always stuck a bit in the mayonaise jar at the few Ive attended because they've always made me feel welcome as an outsider.

So stop by, have some fun, and help out a bit.
