keep in mind, it was 1936.

I liked that McDonalds there that had like every happy meal toy ever on display. I think I saw recently that they remodeled...does it still have the toys?

Yeah, in college I was riding with this chick and we slid backwards on the ice down that thing in her VW convertible bug. I have no idea why we were in Henryetta.

my dad has stories about that hill - all the rich kids lived up there - i cant imagine what kind of hell it was to get up and down that thing in a car during the winter - its pretty steep

You could go up the hill at 3rd, 5th, 9th, and 11th.
5th was the really steep hill. On 9th street, you actually ended up on 8th street at the top of the hill, because of the road wandering across the side of the hill to reduce the grade.

I had a paper route on top of the hill. It really was fun in the winter on my motorbike...

unfortunately no - the family moved to Tulsa and then to OKC by the time i entered the world
