I still haven't figure out why Mizzou thought they should have won that game. They were ahead, I know, around the start of the 4th, but it quickly changed to a 41-24 OU lead. Then they got the biggest gift "TD" in the closing seconds that I've ever seen. Rucker still hasn't made it to the endzone four years later (I hate that kind of sympathetic officiating  - but it could have set up Booger and Co. for that big fall they took in the rematch).

That game was my daughter's first trip to the Snake Pit. A good time was had by all except Mizzou of course.

Another great night at Owen Field.

It was loud and rowdy....not Texas Tech rowdy, but a real loud and fun night.

Want to see more beat downs like this.

That '07 team was special. They were capable of being undefeated that season.

I never got why it was so many teams struggled with Daniel and that offense. If you watched OU play them that year and in 2008, the OU MLB just sits back and reads the QB like an open book. Daniel's play-fakes were awful and he didn't adjust to OU's random blitzes well. And OUr guys got to him all the time because he locked his knees in the pocket each time he dropped back.

If Bradford hadn't gone down against Tech we would have been in the BCSCG.

I don't know if Lofton scooping up that fumble or his interception return for a td in the CCG rematch was a more exciting play. I really liked that interception he had the second time around, it really started what was to be a rout. I think it was still tied 14-14 at half time if I'm remember correctly.

Edit: I guess it wasn't a td return...

And the rematch...I loved all the smack mizzou was talking before the game. Made the beat down so much better....:)

I believe at the 4:15 mark is the shot of booger when abc made a mistake and started playing the sideline reporters feed over the stadium speakers. She said something about "Chase Daniels is fuming on the sidelines...." Hilarious!

I loved the part at the 6:34 mark on the Youtube clip where Daniel gets sacked and then Granger has stripped the ball from him and they both wrestle for it and Daniel comes up once again acting like a punk beatch. We were inside his little punk-arse head every time we played him.

What a tool.

This was one of the games where we scored the occasional tickets from my wife's cousin who happens to sit in prime viewing area on the 50 yard line.

I recall for a brief second getting concerned in the 2nd half but when Curtis made the play on Booger it was all over.
