Ha! Thailand is getting to see it before the US. There are only 8 hours until it opens in the cinemas here at about 12 noon Thursday (midnight Wednesday your time). I figure quite a few school kids will be playing hooky today.

It was kinda like the book releases that started at a certain time at the international date line. I liked the book premieres much better and it was more fun. I remember going to buy my book at 5am, can't even remember which one. They had built a fake Hogwarts outside the shopping mall and they had a stage and performers and did skits and passed out souvenirs at 5am! I remember driving my bike back home with my book in my lap trying to read it at red lights, while wearing my black witch's hat souvenir.

But, I'm like you. I don't want to get involved with all of that now, especially since the malls don't open until 10am. I can just imagine the kids running through the mall when the doors do open. Okay, it would be funny watching it and the reaction of the terrified people working and shopping there who had no idea.

At the theater I attend, young men and women like to dress up for the midnight showing. It is fun to walk by and gawk at them. They start lining up hours and hours before. I can wait until Friday or Saturday! ;)

I read an article yesterday that Rupert Grint got so choked up, he walked out of the premier. I expect it to be top notch even though David Yates directed it. ;)
