I think I'm gonna end these soon because the football board is no longer dead. So, just having fun now:

Stunned Aggie is probably the best by far...but there is something about Vince that drew me in....

I like both the Aggy face and Aggie Face and of course VY lying on the ground like that, but I had to go with Fran face. Probably because of the scoreboard, but either way, classic.

It was close between VY and stunned aggie. Stunned aggie says it all - every year they have such hope!

The context of each:

We were in the midst of our five-in-a-row winning streak at RRS, Vince Young makes yet another costly error. OU won of course.

At College Station, we are in our own territory and decide not to punt on fourth down, with a razor-thin one point lead. The 12th Man is loud, the 12th Man is alive, the 12th Man... is in the backfield?! Texas A&M is called for having 12 men on the field, giving us the first down we likely would have had anyway, OU runs out the clock and wins. The 12th Man is STUNNED.

We had an interview with Stunned Aggy a few years back where he described how the crowd felt at that particular moment --- just absolutely in shock, because they thought they were going to win on national television at home over a ranked opponent (as you can see from the scoreboard, OSU was actually ranked higher than A&M in that 2004 game). OSU had just come out of halftime and the team on the rise was expected to come from behind... not give up yet another touchdown. The crowd (and the hat) are stunned.

Do I really need to explain 77-0? We hosted Texas A&M in 2003 and Dennis Fran Fran just took over for a fired :rcmad:, whom seemed to have Stoops' number. But who didn't have Stoops' number? Dennis Franchione, who never beat Stoops, either at Bammer or A&M. This game absolutely crushed him, and produced the absent-stare "Fran Face" that could be seen at a'many future blowout losses.

I would have done that one, but I don't think that had any OU ties, unlike the four in the poll. This board made Stunned Aggy famous, and the other three are from OU games.

Voted for Vinnie. I saw Everage fly in untouched from 15 yards back on that one. I don't care what kind of physical freak you are, Everage could take anyone down with that kind of lead.

The Whorn band in the background added something special to the VY pic, too!

Voted for Texas Jesus, who, as he's face down on the turf, is thinking to himself, "At least I'll ace the Wonderlic."

Yup, DL and LBs opened a huge hole for him and the idiot Texas RB had no clue what was going on, or was occupied with another blitzer. Vince, of course, held onto the ball way too long. :D

I almost did, but that was from a game against Navy.

I promise to keep this going at least through Thursday. I thought of a can't miss poll topic: Most disillusioned Big 12 rival belief of conference-realignment :D

Mizzou thinking it would be in the Big Ten
Baylor thinking it has Texas political clout
Texas A&M thinking it can SEC-ede
OSU thinking it would have any conference invite without OU
Texas on such a power trip offseason that it sucked during football season

Don't vote yet... suggest more if you remember anything :)

Callahan throat slash or is there some fine print that excludes that one too?

Sure... Nebraska is no longer in the Big 12 :)

Callahan is no longer in Nebraska :D

And Billy said that it was simply a way of telling his children that he has had it up to here.

Ooo... good call! I might have to include KSU in that one too :P

The only ones that seemed to keep a level head in the discussions were us (obviously), Iowa State (which knew it was at the mercy of everyone else), and Tech (which knew it had a better-than-Baylor Texas lobby to never get left out).

Oh yeah, that was a fun one too. i was trying to find Lofton giving Chase a piggyback ride but could only find Lofton chasing Chase, or Chase chasing Lofton. Go after him! He's the man! He's number 40! :D

Yes and it is still my favorite.

Didn't some people from here get together with stunned aggy for lunch once upon a time and find out he was a actually a pretty decent guy?

Why did I pick this one? I love an absolute skull ****ing of epic proportions. I alway wonder what was going through his head when that shot was taken.

Shortly after, Stoops and Fran Face agreed to a running clock in the fourth quarter.

And the losing actually didn't stop after that game:

Three weeks and two losses later Dennis would come home with the same look on his face. The team had fallen to 4-8, Dennis's worst record in 11 years and A&M's worst in 31. This time the house was full of guests, and Dennis followed his routine, walking to his room, removing his tie and sitting in a chair by the bed. When he didn't come out to talk to the guests, his son, Brad -- himself a coach, at Bacone Junior College in Muskogee, Okla. -- went in to check on him. Kim soon followed. "It's been a tough year," Dennis said. Then he broke down and wept as he hadn't since the day they buried Kim's father.

Best thing about the Fran Face pic is the time remaining in the game. 2 minutes left in the THIRD QTR!!!

Johnny Jolly's 4th quarter goal line stop was a classic.

I voted for Fran mostly because of the score on the screen as stated above. 77-0 with 1:58 to go in the 3rd Q is just awesome. I mean, we took some epic *** whuppins from Nebbish in the 90's, but they don't even compare to that.
