Landry Jones will never throw a pass to Trey Metoyer in a game.

Sad, but true.

Do you know something or is this just speculation based on Metoyer's present lack of qualification?

You must not be too sure about that as a branch is bigger than a "limb" therefore being able to support more thus making you comment not as bold or radical. ;)

Are you assuming Metoyer ends up going the JC route? How about he redshirts and LJ declares?

Then I guess Metoyer just can't get open.

Are you saying Landry will leave after this year and Metoyer will redshirt?

I think he's saying that Blake Bell will start this year!!!

I think what david is saying is he's throwing sh*t on the wall to see what sticks.

Lord knows it's a tried and true method in modern "journalism"... Please see Pat Forde, Dennis Dodd, etc.

Titilate the audience with wild speculation for attention (in david's neophyte muckraking career) or ratings (in the case of seasoned trash like Forde), and the beauty of it is you don't actually have to be right.

Ding ding ding.

I have reasons to this happening

but I do not have a source or else I would've said that, this is just me trying to predict the future

No, I'm pretty much just straight up declaring it.

Weak thread but that's not a surprise.

I say lets see what happens this season before we speculate on whether or not Landry will stay. I am starting to think that Metoyer will redshirt for sure now, though. Just based on how long it is taking him to qualify.

Declaring speculation is still speculation, guy.

This kid has so much hype that he can never live up to it.
Countless threads about some kid who hasn't even qualified yet.

So who is going to track this thread when oudavid is proven right or wrong? I'll volunteer not to care.

I think what david is saying is he's throwing sh*t on the wall to see what sticks.

I learned the hard way a week ago that the answer to this is nothing...nothing sticks when sh*t hits the wall. My newborn proved this to me. It all slowly rolls off like one of those wall crawlers that you throw against a window.

Not sure why you say "sad, but true" if you expect Metoyer to be here to redshirt and Landry to have a great season and declare for the draft. Unless you were trying to imply Metoyer wouldn't qualify then changed your tune?

I don't see Landry going pro after this year as a bad thing. He will have proven himself at OU and won't be leaving the team without talent to replace him. I say let him go make what he can when he can.
