Not saying I'd want this to happen, but does Stoops head to Ohio State to fix his home state team mess and then OU entices Urban Meyer out of retirement to lead the Sooners?

Just thinking without the Crimson blinders on that Bob would listen to what they had to offer and be drawn to being the guy who brought OSU back, he could be the home state hero.

Plus Urban would be one of the few coaches who could afford the house Stoops has built/is building.

Nope. I don't see that happening but if for some reason he did do that...Urban Meyer would be my choice to take his spot at OU.

I'd take Leach. Put him at the helm where a school can get premier athletes, put Mangino backbone staff too.

does Stoops head to Ohio State to fix his home state team mess

Stoops was recruited by tO$U, and went to Iowa. When he was a kid he spray painted his shoes silver, and it wasn't because of Archie Griffin.

and then OU entices Urban Meyer out of retirement to lead the Sooners?

Boren and Castiglione haven't been fools yet. Why would they start now?

Maybe somehow in this transaction we can get Coby and Shaq back together and/or get Jimmy Johnson back to Dallas

You're not serious?

I don't think Bob's wife would like Urban. No way she could take all the crying. So Urban is out. Who do you have next?

Urban Meyer is a head case. You don't want him...

Bob is a Sooner man and I don't ever see him coaching anywhere else at the collegiate level.

Stoops has no connection to Ohio State, none whatsoever. He even saying he rooted for Oklahoma when growing up in Ohio.

Damn, soonerfromgeorgia, pull your head out and give good sense a chance. Stoops is not going to leave for OSU. He just isn't. Furthermore, We wouldn't let Urban Meyer within 200 miles of OUr campus. If or when Stoops ever leaves, Venables will be the next head coach.
