Weather's been great, fishing is about average, beaches are not crowded this year. Red snapper season is open for another month, but you have to go out 35 miles to get to them. Tarpon have been slow so far, gag grouper has been closed by the feds for the year. Fishing on the east coast has been much better.

Are you bringing the banable avatar and the Al Gore look-a-likes?

Yes...bringing down the family and some extra kids that otherwise would not have opportunities to travel. I need to get some fishing scheduled!!! I have a couple of captains in Clearwater Beach I can call.

I just hate that Murray has to go inot a situation where their is already a stable full of running backs that are already in a rotation. I'd almost compare it to the littlest piglet in the herd trying to get milk. Except the littlest piglet, not that he is short just that he will be a rookie, is DM7 and the milk is carries in an actual game. With work he can probably get to the number two guy next year. I think he could jump Marion Barber and Tashard Choice this season and then next year it will be Felix Jones. He has always been a hard worker so I agree with you that he almost has to make an impact soon after he starts his NFL career.

I'm a DM fan but I'm not sure he's a starting RB in the NFL. He's going to be a specialist.

Wouldn't bother me in the least if he was a "special player" for Dallas. Jerruh's needed a quality kick return man for many moons and Tony Romo uses his checkdown options a lot in the passing game (see: Jason Witten). Demarco has speed, but he also has that special little ability that's hard to describe. It's a rare instinctiveness and ability to make a fool out of guys trying to tackle him. When I think back on his career, rarely did you ever see him solo-tackled. And you almost guaranteed that if he got one-on-one in space, he would take it a long way and leave the defender in the dust if not flat on his face. Barber's a bruiser, Choice is just a garden-variety running back and Felix Jones is known for his after-burners. There's definitely room for some DeMarco magic in that backfield.
