It doesn't have a surveillance tape like the OKC pharmacy trial, but it does have FBI tapes and a lot of overturned drug-related sentences.

And they just went the jury deliberations.

You can read all of the crazy details here (http://www.tulsaworld.com/webextra/continuingcoverage/continuingcoverage.aspx?id=5), but in a nutshell, three Tulsa police officers (although one is retired) are accused of taking money during an FBI sting and planting drugs to get convictions.

The prosecutors had a fellow officer (who was also accused) testify against the other three, as well as FBI agents about the sting.

The defense had the officers testify, as well as their colleagues as character witnesses.

I thought the evidence was fairly straight-forward, but after hearing the defense, I wonder if there's any doubt in any juror's mind at this point.

How bout THIS for a defense?

Would you let your daughter date any of these individuals or would you let your son befriend any one of them. If your answer is no, then there is reasonable doubt, and you must find these defendants not guilty.

Two acquitted, one found guilty on five counts. Holy cow, not what I expected.

The two acquitted officers...were they already terminated or on paid leave?

Just wondering if they are going back to work.
