OK kids. We ain't got football - or any other Sooner sport :( going on, but we do have a reason to party.

Since I retired on May 31, Momma has decided to have a party to celebrate. Everyone is invited, even the Tulsaites. Here's the particulars:

When: Saturday, June 18

Where: Deanarosa Ranch

Time: 6pm - ??

Who: Everyone

Food: BBQ Sammiches, Sloppy Joes, dogs, sausages, chips, dips, etc.

Drinks: Beer, soft drinks, water, etc.

Entertainment: Wrecked Out Band will start at 8:30pm until we get tired of them

Cost: Just like the tailgates - free. We may have a tip jar for donations (we gotta pay the band, porta potties, etc.) but prolly not. The band will have a tip jar though and please contribute if you can.

Other Stuff: You may tent camp, bring an RV (I have a limited number of hookups if you need one for the RV), you may bring an appetizer or dessert if you want, you may bring whatever special beverages you enjoy, and you may bring your kids/wives/husbands/soulmates/hoes/hookers/etc.

Rules: Be nice and have a good time. Oh, and NO GIFTS.

If you're interested in attending or have questions, peem me and I will give you the address and answer any questions you may have. Should be a smashing good time.

1. We shoot cans. Africans. Mexicans. Puerto Ricans.

2. Not really, but we get em' all likkered up and make fun of their inability to ride an ATV.

3. I've been bucking hay for the past two days just so y'all don't have to. Hitting the hay field at 0-dark30 manana to pick up a couple hunnert more. I used to hire kids, now momma drives the truck/trailer and Big Daddy humps the hay. It's been a hot mama jama these past couple days. She does help unload it in the barn though so I think I'll keep her.

4. Dress code? WTF? Just wear something that covers your wrinkled loins while the children are about.

5. The on my couch? Betwixt momma and me? Nah, Xena the Warrior Princess would be having The scrote for snacks. She's a bitch of a guard dog.

6. There are a couple hotels in Purcell if anyone wants to go that route.

7. The band is pretty dang good.

Dude, we do have about a couple 3 hunnert acres to do that, but I also have some sand piles and crap that would be pretty damn comfy if you're an old grunt who is used to sacking out wherever/whenever. Close to the turlets and crap. Or, if you don't smoke and spit momma might let you take a spot under the AC on the couch or floor. The beds have kinda been spoken for, but there's always room for friends.

Thanks. I've been enjoying it a lot. I feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. Every day I wake up and it's Saturday morning. I've lost track of the day/date and don't care at all. I have been mighty busy though (in fact working a hell of a lot harder now) but that's the way I likes it.

Thanks. I've been enjoying it a lot. I feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. Every day I wake up and it's Saturday morning. I've lost track of the day/date and don't care at all. I have been mighty busy though (in fact working a hell of a lot harder now) but that's the way I likes it.

My parents came down last night for dinner. My dad gets up about 9pm and says "we have to moving back home now as tomorrow is a work day" (paraphrased). My mom says "really? I thought it was Sunday".

Our parties are not sordid affairs (sorry The). Ask anyone who has attended a tailgate. We have a great time, some folks might dance and holler, once in a while someone falls down, but that's about the extint of the shenanigans. There'll be other kids there of all ages. If your kids are your worry my advice would be "don't."

If you just don't wanna come, I'm cool with that, but your kids would have a great time, and so would your wife. We might do a little hayride if folks want to. If you wanna take them out on the 4-wheeler to the ponds or streams and go fishing you can help yourself. There's some dang nice bass and crappie back there.

Breakfast was Coffee eggs with a little cheese grated on top and some muy picante sausage in gravy with the gravy over biscuits also BTK had some darn good deer Jerky to go with the coffee.

Later the pump went out on Deans well. I feel for them. I'm pretty spoiled living in the city. You can usually get that fixed just calling it in to the City. Prayers for them that it's something simple.

Dean knows how to throw a party and Mrs Dean is the ultimate Hostess. Also...thanks to the John Deere folks who brought out the 2 Gators. My two kids had a great time driving them all over the place.
