Now this. TMZ is reporting (http://www.tmz.com/2011/06/06/anthony-weiner-congressman-sex-text-twitter-kcover-up-facebook-photo-women-admitted-wrongdoing-press-conference-penis-picture-apologized/) that one of the women Anthony Weiner was "sexting" with was former porn star Ginger Lee.
When the initial underwear story broke over Memorial Day weekend, and Lee's name came up as one of the people Weiner followed on Twitter, Weiner reportedly emailed Lee and offered her PR help, which is ironic considering how badly he butchered his own press.
"Do you need to talk to a professional PR type person to give u advice? I can have someone on my team call. [Yeah, my team is doing great. Ugh]."
Also: "The key is to have a short, thought out statement that tackles the top line questions and then refer people back to it. Have a couple of iterations of: 'This is silly. Like so many others, I follow Rep. Weiner on Twitter. I don't know him and have never met him. He briefly followed me and sent me a dm saying thank you for the follow. That's it....And then maybe insert some y'alls in there."
Y'all!
He then wrote out a statement for her that she could give the press, which denied she had ever had any contact with him.
Meanwhile, the general consensus seems to be that Nancy Pelosi's ethics investigation into Weiner's activities suggests the Dems aren't going to stand behind Weiner that that he'll be forced to resign. Whether or not that's actually the case likely depends on how many more texts like these see the light of day before the end of today.

I'll vote Republican if it's a candidate I believe in.
Weiner, like all Politicians, is a Doosh. He only lies when his lips move.
If he sent nasty photos to underage kids he should quit and be prosecuted.
If they were old enough, what he did was pretty disgusting. I wouldn't do it. He lied about it, but I don't think it was under oath and illegal. He just smeared his reputation Big Time and is a stain of doodoo on him.
If his constituents think he should remain in office it's OK with me.
I hope he gets help regardless.
