I've actually heard that opposing coaches complain that the blue turf gives boise an advantage. Not when they are playing, but when opposing coaches are trying to watch film of their home games. The home blue jerseys blend into the turf and coaches have to spend a lot more time trying to figure out what boise did on each play.

It ought to be outlawed.

That's exactly it. Notice that "mid-major" type teams change their uni's and helmets every other year.

Oklahoma has had very similar uniforms, with modestly paced evolution in designs, since 1970.

We don't need cheap tricks. Boise does.

The only exception to the consistent Sooner uniforms, by the way, were Schnellenberger's atrocities in 1995. But that's only because Schnellenberger thought he was still at a mid-major.
