I left OKC for Pittsburg with a stop in O'hare a few weeks ago and before I got on the airplane I was so drunk I didn't even know my own name.

That's how I deal with it. Sad thing is I have a private pilots license but I hate sitting in the back of an airliner. You are in for the ride and have no control. I would think one of the requirements would be to convert to a Baptist.

That's how I deal with it. Sad thing is I have a private pilots license but I hate sitting in the back of an airliner. You are in for the ride and have no control. I would think one of the requirements would be to convert to a Baptist.

Try being a paratrooper who didn't land in a plane for almost 3 years. Then, you decide to go home and that mother****er actually lands. Holy. ****. I said prayers I didn't even know.

Since then, I've flown over 2 million miles on one airline, and about the same on several others. I still ain't really groovy with it. I'd feel much better if they issued a T-10 on the green ramp...

It was much easier before I knew the kind of corners they try cut. Across the board, from commercial liners to experimental Navy stealth fighters.

I don't love it, but it gets me where I want to be without using up my whole vacation, so I'll deal.

I'd like it much better if I didn't have all those other people piled up around me.

as a kid i loved turbulence (no idea why)

before i worked for the FAA - it was a minor nuisance
