Brandon Everage will be laid to rest today in Granger Texas. OU is covering the costs of the funeral and Coach Stoops has been in touch with the family every morning and evening. The entire 2000 team will be there as well as many of Brandons friends and family. (never seen so many Escalades in Taylor Granger) NFL money. Keep him in your prayers. RIP

Prayers once again for the family. Very respectable thing for the university to do. Thank you for the information.

What a tragedy. I am happy that the 2000 team will be there to honor him.
He was an amazing player. Prayers for his family.

Everage was just like a Roybacker, just without that signature Superman play. He was all over the field, could play anywhere in the back seven and punished the shat outta QBs and receivers.

My brother and dad are both OU fans. So, I am lucky enough to have someone to cheer with on gameday. Anyone else in your family a Sooner?

Wow, I haven't been on here in a couple of weeks. This is the first I've heard of this. RIP Brandon. You were a special player.

Going back and watching the highlight videos, Book's closing speed was always just amazing...Something that separated him from other Stoops era safeties...He wasn't the biggest or necessarily the fastest, but I can't think of another one that closed on the football like he did.
