I got to spend some time with his son Patrick a few months back. At first I thought he was an idiot. Then I realized he was just a goofy dude. After a while he was hilarious.

I too miss miss him. Jammin - you are right Clint Eastwood is no John Wayne. I always appreciated the fact that Eastwood never tried to be either.

Used to be a life size cut out of John Wayne at a fire station out here. A black firefighter just stopped showing up to work and said Wayne was a racist and that working in an environment with The Duke was stressful. He left under stress leave and got a disability retirement....and The Duke was forever banned from L.A.Co fire stations.

However, some guys had shirts made that are worn under their uniforms and around the station...
