There wasn't much in the paper about it today, but I knew he didn't make the trip. Quay Grant was the switch-hitting third baseman for UNM who was a second-team All-MWC selection in the regular season.
I'm not sure what the situation with him was. If he wants to get closer to home, OU and TCU are the closest D-1 programs (and there is also an ex-Lobo on the roster at D-2 Cameron in Lawton). FWIW....
