I despise/hate putting in fresh contact lenses. my right one takes a while for it to settle in in its final resting spot. until it does, it scratches the wee wee out of my eye.

Copycat threads are a pretty worn out joke and clutter the board:

I don't hate anybody.

I am honestly shocked, shocked I tell ya, that a few people on SF actually have a family that tolerates them considering they spout crazy here all day. Maybe by us getting their crazy it spares their family.

Still, others in their own way make me appreciate how good I have it.

Yes, I would have to agree, although I am guilty of the latter. Also tiresome are the threads with some purported outrage, unsually the actions of a disliked political figure, with an article attached. Then the usual suspects agreeing or disagreeing with the original post jump in.

Ghey threads directed to one or more of your SO buddies are also boring. Hey [SF buddy] threads.

On the positive side, threads about something interesting such as activities, favorite bourbons, cigars, cool stuff you have in your house, etc., are fun and create interesting dialogue.

I have a complete set of encyclopedias for the year I was born. It does not get any better than that.

i have an entire Josh Heupel rookie card collection......definitely not an encyclopedia set - but it was fun chasing all those cards

now they sit in a box in a closet........sigh

The encyclopedias are in my home office..along with a high school portrait of the wife when she was 16. I jerk off to that pic....that may be a whole other set of unexplored and undiagnosed issues entirely...
