I followed many of them but I can't say that I'm disappointed. Some of them tweeted all day.

FYI for those of you less-informed anti-twitter folks, Kenny had had that up for months now. It's not new. And OU football players who use Twitter responsibly are still tweeting. You're only banned if you say stupid **** like Kenny did.

What's ironic? Grown-assed adults twatting 19-year old kids? I agree.

You know what's funny? Little punkassed kids talking about mature adults like they're "old."

BTW, I joined Facebook a couple days ago. Don't know WTF to do with it, but one of my kids talked me into it. He goes "dad, everybody is on Facebook." So I joined. Twitter? Nah.

I don't imagine the fans find it funny if some dumbass player wearing an OU jersey was flaunting a wad of cash and high-fiving a booster all over twitter and facebook. 'Cause I'm pretty sure kids are THAT stupid nowadays. I mean, look at the blabbermouths at Ohio State right now. Even if there was a such thing as a perfect college football program, all it takes is one still shot of a player sitting in a new car at the state fair to get all the aggies of the world asking where player X's new car came from.

I applaud this decision, and wonder if this means facebook, too.

To add, I don't think the Box or Everage family finds it "funny" what was being said about their lost loved ones the last two weeks on social networks.

Sure it's useful for us to get breaking news or amusement. However, for the sake of a program, it just makes sense to control when and were a kid gets a microphone. A certain player's boneheaded comments last season stand as a perfect example.

Now I gotta ask, why in the hell would I want up to the second updates on what some college kid had for lunch when I can read it right here 1.3 nano-seconds later anyhow? I'll let you young dweebs sweetly suckle the sweat off some kids' sack, thank you very much.

This doesn't even make sense. There used to be a name fornpeople that followed around athletes, they were called "jock sniffers". Now they are called "twitter followers"

Should just call em Twits

And if this is the type of hard hitting info you tweet I can see why people would want to hear up to the second info from you
