Anybody finding anything halfway reasonable?

Trying to get one of my brothers to go to the game and told him the hotel rooms were scarce. No commitment yet.

Went on Expedia and saw decent rooms available were all approx $200 a night.

Good to see another Sooner fan swallowed up in the Tide. My son was born and raised here and Oklahoma allegiance with him did not stand a chance, but he certainly respects them.

Heh. We moved to Mobile when I was 10. I was already hooked. :D

I just called and got rates starting at 350 a night. I'm thinkin about putting an ad in the student paper to stay on campus. Pay someone to shack us up.

That or stay at my grandmas up in Valdosta or get a place near Panama City.

hotwire has stuff a lot cheaper than that, but they are in surrounding areas. i'm not all that picky on rooms though

Try Thomasville Georgia, it is only 35-40 miles away and that is where the Seminoles stay the night (Holiday Inn Express) before a home game.

It depends on how you're getting there. We're flying into Panama City and renting a car and staying in Marianna, Florida. It's about 1/2 way between P.C. and Tally, on I-10.

I've checked out pretty much everything in Tally and the room costs are through the roof......that's if you can find one.

i think the worst i've done round trip is like 180 miles each way

20-30 miles isn't that bad

Well my parents house is 3 hours away in Mobile. My granndmas is two in Valdosta. I was hoping for Tallahassee. We'll get it figured out.

Unless you are a big spender, there won't be any hotels in Tallahassee.
