2)When you drop that much on a meal and you get a steak that is rare on one side and well done on the other you're probably not going to choose that restaurant for one of your 2 steaks per year.

You should have sent it back. They expect perfection from their chefs and you usually get it.

I have never had that problem, and if I did, I would point it out to them and give them an opportunity to fix it.

Just don't eat the whole thing and then tell them it wasn't right. That will get your potatoes spit on, and with good reason.

If I had to choose one restaurant in Tulsa as my favorite it would be Dalesandro's. I have never had anything there that I did not thoroughly enjoy. Their pesto dish is one of my two favorite things in the city.

My other favorite thing in the city would be the Chilean sea bass at Ciao. I wouldn't say Ciao is a great restaurant but their CSB is a great dish.

We've had some really good meals at Wolfgang Puck recently. Yes, I know it has a lot of haters and yes it is "cliche" but the food is good and the prices are reasonable.

I recently had a phenomenal lunch at Stonehorse but was very disappointed with a dinner experience I had there previously. Will probably give it another shot for dinner based on the lunch I had.

Wild Fork is a solid choice, but a bit overpriced.

Lucky's is a good (but not great) spot for dinner. Good deals on wine.

I don't love Stonehorse, never have. I do love Delasandros and Wolfgang Puck's. Polo Grill is also very good if you insist on being in the midtown area.

i think the guy that runs Mamadou's in glenpool used to run the restaurant @ the Best Western in Okmulgee. he's gone tho, & the restaurant has been closed for some time. A shame.
