KSU defeated KU 13-7. even with one game remaining, KSU clinches 6th seed.

That will be our opening opponent.

No. They still have a game to play against KU tonight. If they win we play KSU, if they lose we play Tech.

KSU is up 6-2 in the top of the 4th.

We pretty well have to win this thing to have any hopes of hosting, and then I'm still not sure. The good news is there should be some very solid RPI wins available out there should we post 4/5 more wins on the resume.

If we win the Big12 tourney, I think it locks it up for us. Like you said, that based on the nice wins we could potentially add to our resume.

Thing is, the host sites are decided Saturday night and announced Sunday. I can't remember but it seems to me they might actually come out during the championship game.

Winning the Big 12 wouldn't get us a thing as far as hosting goes. That's not to say winning our first two games wouldn't be huge, it would be.

Has Sunny said who is throwing on Wednesday? It would make sense to go with our normal rotation, I would think, just in case we're 2 and BBQ, then both Rocha and Smith get work this week.

After the loss Thursday he said Rocha would go Wednesday, but I thought that might have been a heat of the moment kind of response. We'll see.

According to Soonersports.com it will be Rocha, Smith, and the fan favorite TBA.

Please tell me for those of us that will be watching the Big12's webcast that it will be someone besides Rex Holt doing the play by play. He wouldn't be so bad if he would just blow his nose!!

Yep, the P.A. guy always runs these down about the 7th or 8th inning of the championship game.
