Daniels appears to be the R that the MSM would prefer the Obear face in the erection next year. What is it about Daniels that appeals to the MSM as a chosen candidate to face the POTUS? Is it that he's a Measured Moderate, with the ability to "get along" without ruffling feathers? Is it that he's a Big Tent guy, willing to appeal to the RINOs?

You do realize they were soft on those guys because they are soft...like really Charmin soft. I mean Huckabee is about as exciting as a colonoscopy. There's some things I really like about his record as a gov of Indiana. I think for example selling the highway in Indiana has ended up huge for the state. And I think it's a model that needs to be copied more to help get us out of the debt we are in. Also when he did help run the money in washington (The House/Fed runs the money in reality) he only raised it about 1 or 1.5 trillion in debt in 4 years. I say only because 1 trillion ran through in about 3 months this day and age. I would love to go back to about 1-2 trillion a term.

Newt has never been an ideologue. He never has been the type to say what he is supposed to say. He was never electable just like Ron Paul because they actually use their brains and don't just toe the company line. I don't disagree that Newt is a smart guy, but he fumbled that interview. He was simply wrong.
