The local Gary England's in the Lawton/Wichita Falls area had some serious wood last night hoping for a tornado to materialize. You can sense their disappointment when it doesn't happen.

A few years ago the news broke into programming and one eager beaver on the Lawton channel decided he was "making a call" and overruling the Norman center - he SAW A TORNADO! [hairGel]

The rudimentary dust devil of a swirl never quite made it anywhere near the ground despite all but outright cheering and encouragement from the giddy weather team.
