I chose it as the season ticket option. No one else I sit with is doing it. Am I the only fool going out there to embarrass the crap out of myself?

This would be awesome if i were there! It would also make up for the Walk-on try out that never happened in 2006 and ruined my college baseball career.

It was fun. The team sang the ABC's to me in Yardbird fashion. That was pretty cool, but it didn't work. I got a piece of it!

Yes they did. It was pretty fun. Team was out in the field shagging, or surrounding the cage giving us a hard time. Tadlock was throwing. It was a great time. Hopefully they'll do it again next year and the rest of you will actually buy season tickets and get the opportunity that we got last evening.

Unfortunately, even with an occasional trip to a local batting cage, at my age of 53 1/2 I'd probably have the same kind of form that Jon Heder's character Clark showed in "The Benchwarmers." Or at least it would be that bad by my own standards, given that I played either baseball or softball between 1966 and 1987.

Bummed that I could not make this event. Tough to get there from El Paso(work).......sounds like a great time.
