Erin Brockovich. On the surface it seems like an inspiring story of a rough woman who is able to win a big legal judgment for a bunch of poor victims of environmental pollution. But I understood it was all really tongue in cheek, because the consensus from impartial and credible scientists in the field is the plaintiffs' theory of negligence was completely bogus and scientifically unsound. ;)

Hurricane. Same thing. It was all tongue in cheek because Carter really did blow those folks in the bar away and was guilty as sin and there never was some grimy cop who followed him around his whole life.

Magic, duh. And the Lily Munster casting is the one that always gets me. And why does Yul Brenner have the only accent in the whole movie? Was he just raised elsewhere and came back?

Mom never got time traveling movies like the end of "Back to the Future" where there were essentially two DeLoreans and two Martys until the original one went back to 1955 and the "second" one staying in 1985.

This is an example of one of those movies that you have to turn your brain off for, because if Marty changed the past to cause he and his siblings to never exist, then wouldn't he never exist in the first place, thus never screwing up the past?

There's another example of that in Meet the Robinsons. If you never saw that tear jerker, basically (SPOILER!) the kid's son screws up and his mistake causes the past and the future to change and thus none of that would have happened in the first place if he didn't exist argh TURN OFF BRAIN! TURN OFF BRAIN!

I feel like GlaDOS at the end of Portal 2 trying not to think about a paradox that she just said to prevent herself from exploding :D

I forgot to mention The Invention of Lying. Some thought it started out funny and turned unfunny and offensive. But it's one of those movies where it helps if you take the corncob out of your a$$hole when watching it.

The movie started out slowly, but grew into one of the funniest movies of the year.
