The water is warmer in Florida. The weather is better in Southern California. Your choice.

We're season pass holders for Disneyland....but not Disneyworld because, honestly, it's too far away to be worth it.

Dude, I wasn't impressed with all your mountain chateaus, beach getaway bungalows, and Beverly Hills mansions - but season tix to Disneyland had to cost at least a brazillion, no?

Orlando has way more attractions than Disneyland area. Unless you've got family in the area, southern cal is overrated.

Not much. With parking about $1500 for the entire family for the year.

Been to both.

Lived in Orlando for 4 years..

Do NOT go in the summer.. Weather is unbearable and the crowds are larger.

been to both. If you're in California, your money's better spent at Magic Mountain (Six Flags). 24 roller coasters.

Both within the last 3 years. I prefer Disneyland.. better weather, less crowded, and I prefer the Pacific, even if the waters cold.

We always do the Southern California City Pass (think thats what its called). Anyhow, gives you admission to Disney, California Adventure (next door), Sea World, Universal Studios Hollywood, and the San Diego Zoo.

The biggest issue to me is the crowds, Orlando is just sick.

Also, Florida doesnt have In-N-Out burger.

Last time was Orlando in maybe 2002 or so. We went in October and it was great. Went on every ride (a couple more than once), did the whole Epcot thing, all in one day. In the summer, you might get on a couple rides after you stand in line for hours.

The only reason I'll ever go back to Orlando is for TWWOHP.

I have a bad feeling those last two letters stand for Harry Potter....

October is a great time to go.

Go to World for your first experience....but go to Land because it's the one that got it all started.

Remember....when you go to Disneyland.....make sure you can park in the RV Lot and before you leave.....dump the ****ter near Dodgers Stadium.

Yep, rumors are that Dallas is kind of the test-market and will serve as the "hub" so that they can eventually spread into Houston, San Antonio, Austin, OKLAHOMA CITY, Shreveport, etc. Everything still stays fresh and never frozen, and I would imagine nationwide wouldnt be too far off. It takes away the unique factor for me, but its all good.

On another burger note, 5 Guys Burgers and Fries will be opening their first Oklahoma store either this weekend or next in Moore... another really good burger.

These joints are hindering my quest to train for and complete a triathlon... so good though. :D

We have season tickets to Universal this year. HP is great, but it is attracting crazy crowds. As a local, I broke my own rule and went with my extended family over the Christmas holidays. We went the first day in the history of the park that they "sold out" and turned people away at the gate. People waited 3 hours in a "holding pen" (it looked like cattle) just to enter the HP section of the park. This was before any line waiting. May is a low crowd season, but October is the best weather month to visit.
