Yep...they caught one in a Tulsa backyard this week...

That will bring the total confirmed Oklahoma sightings (outside of the panhandle)up to 5 in the last 20 years or so....

It is usually the males looking for new range...the Tulsa female might have been a pet...

I used to keep a cougar as a pet.. Or maybe it was the other way around. ;)

Seriously though, yes there are Cougars in Oklahoma.
