wtf did you do in the gym for 2 1/2 hours? sit in the locker room and stare at peeners? Do a half marathon on the treadmill?

Dude, I don't subscribe to the Mongo "i pick things up and i put dem down" approach.

I do an hour - 1 1/2 hour of cardio on the eliptical, treadmill, or track. Then I do 45 minutes - one hour in the weight room. Today was chesticles and bis. I finish with about a 10-15 minute stretch deal.

I have no clue what that is, but all those 20-minute work/burn out deals don't work long term. Especially at my age. You go 20-minutes, I'll go an hour and a half. Same thing applies at work, in bed, in life, etc. If you ain't got the patience/determination to do it right, the only thing one can hope for is a roller coaster ride of fat/semi-fat/fat/semi-fat...

YOu should try working opposing muscle groups - Chest & Back, bis & tris... etc.

I used to do the whole chest/tris, back/bis, legs/shoulders. I find I can get more work done doing muscle groups that aren't both being stressed during the same workout. Chest/bis, back/tris, and I still do legs/shoulders. On between days I do abs. Hey, just trying to cheat father time. Mother nature is a bitch, but father time is a serious prick.
