She's hideous. His political ambition and career has come to a screeching halt, his body is older and he hates getting old and fat and the movie roles he expected to come pouring in have failed to materialize.

I could see why they'd split.

The political differences were huge.
I could see where she was "wearing" on him! (He had been going soft)
(Maybe she wasn't so soft any more?)
(But, then again she was a Kennedy who hadn't killed anybody yet.)
