Unfortunately my son's baseball season ended at Verdigris in Regionals on Thursday night; we ran into a hot pitcher against Inola and lost 5-3 then had to sit for about 2.5 hours before our next game and came out totally flat and got blown out by Salina; we finished at 19-9 but our goal was to make it to the State tournament and that didn't happen so I'm still kinda bummed about it. My son will be a Senior next Spring and it's really hard to think that next year it will all be over; we return all but 2 of our main players and should be pretty good again next season but there are a couple of spots that we are still lacking so it's gonna be a tough road to make it to State next season; we could use a shortstop and an ace on the mound otherwise we will probably be in the same situation next season.
