Looks like tOSU is going to get a worse punishment than usc. After the NCAA is done investigating and handing out punishment tOSU will not be relivant for a very long time.

If to$u is smart they will... Nobody is bigger than the program at great football schools. OU would survive without stoops... Tre$$el is still God to the losers here in columbus

Yeah I don't see why they won't fire him. If for nothing else, to at least make a statement (or attempt to make a statement).

Wow, I read that story twice to be sure I didn't miss anything...it sure seems fishy to me. I bet they're going to get the NCAA bomb dropped on them, but it may take 10 years to "investigate" of course. ;)

:D Just my opinion, but I don't really think the NCAA cares whether he's there or not, they're gonna stick it to tOSU. I suppose to give the appearance the school is trying to clean the program up, they should let Tressel go.

NCAA just keeps finding problems with these players. I wonder what the total number of players receiving improper benefits on their team is. Also, NCAA = FBI.

Time to drop the "The" Ohio State University crap. NCAA is going to shell those buckeyes

Four of the Tattoo Five or their relatives -- Pryor's mom/brother, Herron, Thomas, Posey -- got cars from #Kniffin. I know, shocking.

Sounds like an entire conference of Texans. Glad I don't live up there.

It seems like the NCAA has been going after the big time programs a lot in recent years (except for texas)... Alabama, Us, USC, tOSU, Michigan, etc...

Looks like they are trying to make some big examples, once they got USC and didnt get us, they figured that they would go for two...

one of early enrollees (freshmen) last summer bought a car
he told me he "got a good deal on it" because "the salesman was a fan" and knew who he was, "even though [he was] a freshman"

Whatever that means. I mean...that story is no different than a hot girl getting a discount on something. Just saying that people need to get off the jock of these players.
What Ohio State players did is obviously against NCAA rules, if true.

Don't worry, the NCAA will punish TCU severely for this Ohio St infraction!!

"When in doubt do the right thing." << Apparently something Tressel never heard about much less ever learned.

Too bad tOSU.
