Back in my police days, our K-9 was a belgian malinois. Bad-*** dogs for sure..

A great friend of mine just took a job with a company that trains retrievers to be sent over to help find IED's. Several retriever field trial trainers have started working for them in the last year or so because they can make a lot more money, even with benefits, also working much better hours.

It is amazing that a dog can be trained to skydive. It said that the one Air Force dog jumped over 30,000 feet with his trainer. I can't believe any animal wouldn't be freaking the f out from sheer instinct after something like that.

Malinois are bad @ss. Very cool stories on both links. The paracuting dog is awesome, the pic of the one jumping out the copter into the water is very cool too.
