I'm with you on Shia LeBeouf. I'm not sure what his appeal is in Hollywood. Having him play a Navy SEAL would be like that horrible 70s flick which starred Barry Bostwick as a sci fi military leader in future times. Let's assume Charlie Sheen is out - he could not show up on the set on time, and he would take too many "bathroom breaks." Let's also not cast Owen Wilson. That bald character actor Ed Lauter would have to play a government official or military leader. It's required in action flicks. And don't cast Brian Dennehy, since he lied about serving in Vietnam. OK, this will require some more thinking.

It's funny, all the SEALs I know, which are a few...if I didn't know they were SEALs, I'd never know they were SEALs. Ya know? Just regular looking dudes. Who can kill you about 897 ways, including some interesting uses of a spork.

So, I'm on board with the Sam Worthington, Vin Diesel maybe a little over the top, but hey, it's Hollywood, maybe a little Russell Crowe as the scarred, seasoned vet, and IDK, Ryan Reynolds as the lovable smart-alec. And also so we can see his abs. Never too much of that.
