I find it comical, actually. I never expected to win a game this weekend, so, therefore, I don't even get upset. The comedy comes from watching our team mentally melt in a puddle at the sight of the burnt orange. Its like a psychiatrist's dream study.

That's three backward K's on horrible pitches, at least that I'm counting. That ball was WAY inside, the catcher framed it horribly, and the umpire gave him the call. Two Cole Green looping curve balls in the eyes of our hitters earlier in the game.

Agreed 100%, which is why I said we were the better team ON PAPER going into the series. I still feel that way. Unfortunately for us, the game's not played on paper.

Why we lost the game. Twice our outfield tried to make impossible throw to get the lead runner, once at third, once at home. Niether time was there the remotest chance of making the play. This allowed the batter to advance to second. Once the runner scored from second on a single which he would not have done from first. The other the next hitter grounded out which would have been and inning ending double play if they held him. Fundamentals.
