I saw this pic today, and I was humored:

But the headscarf on the Ewok got me thinking, are Ewoks Muslim? They wear headscarves, are covered in hair, are a religious society, defeat modern militaries capable of destroying worlds with primitive technology and guerrilla tactics, and so on. What say you?

If Ewoks are Muslims, I'm sure there will soon be a suggestion that we round up all the Ewoks in the USA and put them in concentration camps. It's a natural progression.....

Raptor Jesus is a real being that saved the dinosaurs. They had their reign and now it's our turn with human Jesus. After us I believe it will be cockroach Jesus.

Well, if Klingons were Russians and The Ferengi were Japanese, then Ewoks could certainly be muslims.
It just stands to reason.

Listen....

As long as they live here in the good ole USA....they can be any damned thing they want except for Mexican. They need a green card or a decent ID if they are from Mexico or look like they are from Mexico.

On 2nd thought....they better have some ID......

"Oh, yes, it's that bothersome coordinating droid again. Honestly, Artoo, it's so degrading that a droid with speech capability should be such an officious dullard!"

My four year old has none of my biases, but she chooses Empire over the others every time. I am so proud.

She never wants to watch the prequels. She says, "Daddy, I wanna watch Darfa Vader...the one were he cuts the arm off". (Tears of Joy in Daddy's eyes)

My best friends' kid always liked watching Darth Maul get cut in half. "Wanna watch the bad man die." I have agree that it was the best part of Episode I. I don't hate it, but between Jar-Jar, the pod race that never ends, and the annoying little kid - Jake Lloyd, I'm not in any hurry to watch it. However, that kid was still better than Hayden Christenson in II & III.

Yeah, You can forgive that stuff with the kid, Jake. I can handle HC better in the third one, but still his whining is just so forced.

The biggest sin is a lack of storyline. In the original trilogy, even without a lot of story, it remained interesting. The prequel did not do that, or at least not consistently.

Having Ewan McGregor in it helped though. At least for me. :)

That has to be a big plus for McGregor's career. The ladies love him, and he has some street cred built up over his career so the guys like him too.

I read a bunch of the Star Wars Books, almost all of them I think. I think if Dean would buy them on tape and stick them in his 8-track in the Deere he'd see what we all see....
