Saw this on the big 12 blog posted by an Aggie.

Kirk in Texas asked: All time and Big 12 offense with no weaknesses? Who you got? Some are saying this 11 aggie team, others 08 sooners and 05 Longhorns. What's your take?

DU: Uh, let's pump the brakes a bit on the 2011 Aggies. They don't have anyone on that team close to what the Sooners or Longhorns had on offense. The Sooners had one of the best O-lines in the history of college football and a No. 1 pick at quarterback. The Longhorns had one of the greatest college QBs of all-time in Vince Young. A&M? A very good offense, but nowhere near that level. No weaknesses, maybe, but nowhere near as good as either of the other two offenses.

You know, a 9-win season with a three-way tie for the division really does entitle you to compare yourself to an OU team with four first-round draft picks and a UT team that won the national title... or rather, a Fumbles McScrambles that won the title.

A&M fans would need to be considered smart by the other fans in the nation...and well, they arent.

oxymoron would be like:

Dark Light
Stupid Smart
Ground Pilot
Virtual Reality


The title is redundant if anything.

I spent time in Houston area. My Dad was in the oil business and still is growing up. I have been exposed to Texas A&M and OSU fans is there is little difference between expectations. 7-9 win seasons is like winning the BCS title to them.

Aggie Fans are hard to be around at times but they are nowhere near as bad as Poke Fans.

When you don't have a lot of skins on the wall and the ones you do have are dusty, wild speculation is the best you can do to feel good about yourself.

Last I saw, we are repainting the score board, yet again.
