i guess i would think that in a time of war - we'd put a person in the pentagon that has some exposure/experience with the military? Leon Panetta doesnt have that - his tenure at the CIA was really to clean things up - and to put somebody there that Obama trusted - more than putting somebody there that had Intell experience

there are democrats who have pentagon experience
