Nothing new here - the boy who would be King thinks that everyone else is responsible for the high gasoline prices! So, he has asked the Justice Department to investigate oil speculators.

**If there were a wide open investigation into the cause of hight gasoline prices....the top 10 reasons list would have "Obama" mentioned in at least 4 of those!
So, while we watch another political witch hunt, Obama will accept none of the responsibility himself! What a immature a**hole!

every time gas goes up......the politicians order an investigation....and it makes the news...
and oddly enuf...then never find any wrongdoing.....
which is not surprising.
oil futures go up...gas goes up...pretty simple...
what they should investigate is how much speculative money pours into the futures market and artificially pushes up oil prices..
if the hedge funds were barred from playing with paper....the price might reflect more closely the supply/demand scenario.

No, Bush did't open up an investigation. Bush loosened the red tape to allow more drilling. Only phony politicians wanting to deflect blame, calls for investigations.
