Texas is paying the most money for their coach. That makes me happy.

I also like the fact that Lane Kiffin is making 4mil for a 15-11 record. USC got a good deal there.

How does Locksley even have a job as an assistant coach, let alone a head coach? He's worse than John Blake (and yes, I do remember how bad Blake was).

BTW, is that an aura around Mark Richt?

I don't see how they can say that Gundy is the 7th most secure coach (or has the 114th coolest seat).

I guarantee that there is a lot of wariness regarding the departure of Holgorsen, and I would not be surprised if LosuR fired Gundy if he were to only win 5 or 6 games this year.

Mike Locksley, in addition to that stellar record, has been accused of punching out an assistant coach and choking him during a staff meeting. He was also sued for sexual harrasment; a claim that was settled on undisclosed terms.

Yeah, but he doubled his wins from 09 to last year. Not many other coaches can say that!

How did Briles go up in these rankings while going from 4-8 to 7-6? How often are they updated?

He did go out partying but he was back in his hotel room by 9-10 PM. He went to the interview in the morning, but wasn't feeling well so the staff told him to come back in the afternoon if he starts feeling better. He didn't feel any better, so it was canceled.

Tressel may get fired or a 1 year suspension...he is in pretty deep

More off season dribble. I can't wait for the season to start then we don't have these dumb speculations getting any attention.

Gundy has turned that program around. He has had back to back seasons where at one point he was in the top 10. That is not an elite program, but has become a respected one.

Before he got there they were a 6 or 7 win team in a season then a 3-5 win season. He has brought stability and would be shocked if he isn't given a raise and even an extension with a 7-8 win season this year.

I do not see mack as being on that hot of a seat. More of a yellow than a red or at least right on the border of the two (orange ha amusing coincidence)

Ferentz went down? Doesn't he have a huge scandal ongoing about steroids?

When a coach has to play the assistant coaches card then he is in trouble. It is not something that can be done twice. In Mack's case, however, he is probably in the best position to get out of the red in 2011 than any of the rest of those guys.

Mark Richt at only no. 6 is kind of surprising to me.

Richt has a lot of 10 win seasons under his belt. He's a good coach in a tough conference. If he gets fired I hope he goes to the ACC or Big 10 to shake some things up there.
